AN ORMOLU-MOUNTED SÈVRES STYLE COBALT-BLUE GROUND BALUSTER VASE WITH COVER Circa 1890, signed F. Bellanger.
The large enchanting vase is with fluted neck and winged acanthus scroll handles suspending bracket rings and berried laurel, the body painted with an oval panel depicting putti in the heaven, a putto holding a torch above, the reverse with one putto hovering above a stock of flowers in the heavenly garden, all on a cobalt blue background with a gilt foliate and trellis surround, rest on a sevres porcelain pedestal which is with marble top & base showing a lady holding bridal wreath & a putto hovering over, the lyre & the flute on the lower part shown with the musical note, all as well surrounded gilt foliate and trellis.

The domed ornamented cover with cone finial spurious blue interlaced L "S" mark.
